“Craft and Design: the value of cultural brand” is the theme of the fifth edition of Strategic Arts Management master class to be held on November 14-15th at Palazzo Franchetti, in collaboration with the European Institute of Design and Arte Artigiana.

SAM master class aims to answer the question of new needs, tools and approaches emerged in the system of design and craftsmanship by exploring in an effective and sustainable way the markets of art and creative production.

The master class is aimed at artisan, designers, companies, makers, FabLab, students and apprentices in creative crafts.

SAM master class new edition is an interactive journey of experiences and sharing of communication and networking technologies for the craft and design: to learn about the markets, find out how to protect and enhance the production, optimize processes, tools and resources, in order to understand how this cluster is crucial for the realization of a cultural brand linked to the territories.

Innovative ideas and projects can become the hub of a dynamic system. Economy and society are transformed and place crafts and design at the center of a new scale of values.

Strategic Arts Management facilitates the approach to the new ecosystem by promoting the encounter between creative insights (soft skills) and project skills (hard skills) in a business setting.

The format proposed exceeds the logic of the classroom and chooses an unconventional place, a place of knowledge and experience sharing, to promote a new style of open management, creative and focus on sharing and growth of the intellectual capital, valuing ideas and talents.

The experts attending will present the excellence in the design and culture management and ensure a multidisciplinary approach, inviting participants to think cross.

Team is composed by: Gilda Zaffagnini (Nexa), Paolo Fontana (Signaletic), Alessia Panella (Avvocato studio legale Panella), Federica Preto (Arte Artigiana), Gaetano Di Gregorio (Coordinatore Interior Design IED Venezia), Stefano Micelli (Google Cultural Institute), Michele Trimarchi (Tools for Culture).
